Romey Action
July 1, 1917 - November 6, 2013
Resident of Berkeley
Romey Action passed away
on Wednesday November 6th. He was born in Tallulah, Louisiana; he came to
California during the Great Migration, to work at the Alameda Naval Station.
Soon after he met and married Gladys Action, a union that lasted 69 years. The
two united their 4 children Huey, Vera, Verda Action
and James Robinson. Cherishing his memory are his loving and devoted wife
Gladys Action; Step-son James Robinson; Grandchildren Tonyua
Abrom, Andre McFadden, Sonyua
Williams, Zonyua and Shawn Robinson, and Corey Action
Harrison, and a host of other family members.
Services will be held
at Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito CA. Viewing will be on
Tuesday November 19th from 1p to 5p. & Services will be November 20th,
11am.
