Memorial
services for Nora Ellen Presley Atkins, 70 of Waverly, LA will be held at 2:00
PM, Sunday November 13, 2022 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church east of Epps, LA.
A time of fellowship
and remembrance will be held on Sunday from 12:00 PM until service time.
Nora was born in
Delhi, LA on January 21, 1952 and went home to be with her Lord Tuesday,
November 8, 2022 in West Monroe, LA.
She is preceded in
death by her parents, Barney Walton Presley, Sr. and Corine Carter Presley; a
daughter Amy Atkins; four brothers, Harvey "Moe" Presley, Paul Gene
Presley, Wayne Presley and Barney W. Presley Jr. and a sister Suzy Lidwell.
Nora is survived
by her beloved husband, Dale Atkins of Waverly, LA; a daughter Angie
Perry (Todd) of Delhi, LA; a son, Craig Atkins (Terri) of Homer, LA; seven
grandchildren, Cade Atkins, Kimi Atkins, Michael Perry (Jessica), Ashley Perry,
Brittany Coile, Brandy Ratliff, and Katie Alford (Corey); nine great
grandchildren, Emma Perry, Jagger Alford, Bradleigh Alford, Emma Randall,
Marshall Ratliff, Myles Ratliff , Ellie Randall, Carlie and Eliza; and two
siblings Wendy Presley of Delhi, LA and Sissy Bryant (Les) of Illinois.
Any planned memorials
may be made in her name to the Walnut Grove Baptist Church; St. Jude's
Children's Hospital or to a charity of donors choice.
