Funeral services for
Mr. Benny Ralph Bedgood will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at
Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Martin Parker
and Bro. Jeff Sykes officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will
follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
Benny passed away
Friday, June 2, 2023, at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tallulah
at the age of 72. He was born August 1, 1950, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Steven
Acey and Bertha Mae Decker Bedgood. He was a life-long farmer and trucker.
Benny and his wife, Betty, made their home in Madison Parish where they raised
their three children, Sonya, Timmy, and Rusty. He was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
Benny is preceded in
death by his parents, Steven and Bertha Bedgood, and his older brothers, John
Acey, James Allen, and Thomas Earl.
Benny is survived by
his wife of 50 years, Betty Fuller Bedgood; daughter, Sonya; two sons, Timothy
and Rusty; two granddaughters, Dusty and Amellyn; five grandsons, Drake, Wyatt,
Jake, Tristan, and Will; two sisters, Patricia Henson and husband Paul, and Eva
McCoy; and lots of friends and other family members. He is also survived by his
trusty companion, Eli.
Pallbearers will be
Drake Bedgood, Wyatt Bedgood, Jake Bedgood, Tristan Bedgood, Will Stockstill,
and Kurt Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Brown, Tim Jobe, and Cliff
Smith.
