Hattie Mae Glass
Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana
November 2, 1943 ~ May 29, 2021 (age 77)
From Crothers-Glenwood
Funeral Home Tallulah, LA June 3, 2021
Ms. Hattie Mae Glass
Brown was born on November 2, 1943, in Kerman, California, to Johnnie Ruth and
Miller Ford Glass. She passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, peacefully at her
home in West Monroe, Louisiana, surrounded by family.
Hattie worked in
Tallulah, Louisiana, as a hair dresser for over 40 years where she attended
Acts Tabernacle Church. She loved tending all her flowers, doing yard work, and
gardening. Ms. Hattie was a wonderful mother, sister, Mae Mae, aunt, and
friend. She loved God and her family passionately, but cherished her two boys
most of all and talked to them daily. Mae Mae was our angel and #1 prayer
warrior. You never had to wonder where she stood and there was no point in
trying to hide something from her because she always knew.
She is preceded in
death by her parents, Miller Ford and Johnnie Ruth King Glass, and siblings,
Dennis Glass, Barbara Martin, and Sheryl Glass. She is survived by her
children, Roy Lee “Buster” Brown, Jr. and Micheal David Brown (Angie);
siblings, Joseph Glass, Dixie Moreau, George Glass, Lynda Barksdale, Carlos
Glass, Teddy Glass, and Donna Griffing; grandchildren, Brandon Brown (Nancy),
Emily Foy (Dustin), Lenzy Crockett (Kyle), Jessica Madden (Justin), and Alan
Micheal Brown; great grandchildren, Trey Foy, Luke Brown, Gaberiel Madden,
Sophie Foy, Ava Brown, and Noah Madden; honorary Brother and Sister, Glen and
Francis Jordan; and special friends, Carolyn Sanders, Robin Fondren, Sandra
White, and Eva McCoy.
Funeral services for
Ms. Hattie Mae Glass Brown, age 77, will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 1:00
PM at Acts Tabernacle in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Rev. Gregory Nichols
officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the

direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
