Memorial services for
John C. Byram, 67, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Tallulah First Baptist Church with
Revs. Crawford Williams and John Rushing officiating.

Burial was in Silver
Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of
Tallulah.
Mr. Byram died
Saturday in Marshall, Texas after injuries received in an auto-pedestrian
accident.
He was a lifelong
resident of Madison Parish, a retired farmer, a member of Tallulah First
Baptist Church, and was involved in many activities in Madison Parish.
Survivors include his
wife, Mrs. Billie
T. Byram of Tallulah; one son J. Byram of Tallulah; three daughters, Terry
Lowry of Alexandria, Janet Newsom of Marshall, Texas, and Shela
Dawson of Longview, Texas; two brothers, Gaines Byram
of Tallulah and Dr. George
Byram of Haynesville; three sisters, Olga Mae Horn
of Tallulah, Marguerite
Whitehead of Shreveport and Betty Lipari
of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.
