Funeral services for Martha "Jeanie" Christesen, 75, of Shreveport, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Bro. Lee Christesen will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Jeanie was born July 25, 1938 in Tallulah, LA and passed away April 6, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene H. Christesen, Sr. and special partner, Kelly Dennis Harris.

Jeanie was survived by her children; Sherri Christesen Daly and husband Patrick; sons; Eugene H. Christesen Jr,. Michael A. Christesen and wife Rhonda, Junann Christesen Langley and husband Terry, Lee K. Christesen and wife Beth, Druann Christesen McElroy and husband Shane, Denise Christesen; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
