ROCKFORD-
Juanita Martha Clark, age 73, of Rockford passed into the loving arms of her
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday June 30, 2014.
Martha was born in
Tallulah, Louisiana, the second born of identical twins to Nicey and Fred Wilson February 16, 1941. Since the age of
9, Martha was a resident of Rockford, IL where she attended school and
graduated from Rockford West High School. Martha married Floyd Raymond
“Moonie” Clark on August 10, 1963 and remained married for 39 years until his
passing. From that union was born 3 children, Floyd III, Michelle Lynn, and
Nicole.
For all that knew Martha, she was strong willed, family focused, loving and
giving. Her authoritative disposition was a blessing to her family and her
spirit will be greatly missed.
Martha is preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd R. Clark, II; Fred
Wilson (father); Nicey Wilson (mother) ; Mary
Henderson (twin sister) ; Adolph Wilson (brother), James D. Wilson (brother).
Martha leaves to cherish her memory her children, Floyd R. “Louie” Clark,
III; Michelle Lynn Clark (Michael); Nicole Clark; her Aunt: Julie Prince; her
sisters: Gloria Wilson and Zora L. Warren; her
grandchildren: Briana, Malik, Myla,
Malachi and Makarious; and a host of relatives and
friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the
Christenson Funeral Home & Crematory, 925 3rd Ave. Interment at Willwood Burial Park. Friends may visit the family from
10:00AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Memorials to the family.
