Funeral Home February 10, 2014
Funeral services for Jane Gunn Corley,
age 70, of Ruston, LA will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2014 at First Baptist
Church in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Dr. Chris Craig, Rev. Andy
Johnson, and Rev. Dudley Poda. Visitation will begin
at 12:30 P.M. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in
Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ringgold, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick
Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Corley was born
on September 15, 1943 in Tallulah, LA and died February 1, 2014 in West Monroe,
LA following a lengthy illness. Jane was a member of First Baptist Church in
Ruston and was a member of the Newcomers, First Baptist Church WMU, and Piney
Hills Quilters Guild. She is preceded in death by her parents, M.O. and Kathlyn Edmonson Gunn; and her brother, Eddy Gunn.
Jane is survived by
her husband, Tony Corley, Sr. of Ruston; sons, Tony Corley, Jr. and wife
Cynthia of Boutte, LA; Timothy Corley and wife
Tabitha of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, Tony III, Victoria, Adam, and
Aaron; her mother-in-law, Macie Martin of Jonesboro,
LA; brother, Sammy Gunn and wife Dianne of Quitman, LA; and a host of other
family and friends.
Memorials may be made
to the First Baptist Church Ruston Library.
