Earline Williams Davis was
born on March 29, 1944 in Tallulah, Louisiana. Her parents, Tommy Gales, Sr and Corene Williams,
celebrated the birth of their beautiful baby girl.
Earline
received her early education in the Madison Parish School system and graduated
from McCall High School in 1962. After graduation, she relocated to Las Vegas,
Nevada where she worked in the Hotel Industry until she retired. Las Vegas is
where she gave her life to Christ at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist
Church under the leadership of the late Pastor J.L. Kemp. Under Pastor Willie
Cherry's leadership, she remained a faithful member until the Lord called her
from labor to reward.
Earline leaves to cherish her precious memories that will endure forever five
daughters: Pamela Williams, Janice Williams, Angelique Williams, Sandra
Williams and Tanya Williams all of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren: Shaniesha Williams, Darryl Jackson, Jermareon
Williams, Terrance Rogers, Martice McLemore, Keana King and Jeremiah Williams; two great-grandchildren: Kalil Johnson and Christopher Toney of Las Vegas, Nevada;
six brothers: Frank Richardson, Jr. (Kathy) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Charles
Richardson, Sr. of Dearborn, Michigan, Andrew Richardson of Las Vegas, Nevada,
Willie Roy Williams (Ruby) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tommy Gales, Jr. of Chicago,
Illinois and Samuel Gales of Lake Providence, Louisiana; four sisters: Gladisteen Steward of Ferguson, Missouri, Brenda Richardson
of Cypress, Texas, Patricia A. Jackson of Missouri City, Texas, and Bertha
Gales of New Orleans, Louisiana; one brother-in-law: Henry "Red"
Douglas, Jr. of Tallulah, Louisiana; and two aunts: Marie Thomas of Seattle,
Washington and Marjorie "Hazel" Richardson of Tallulah, Louisiana.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Tommy Gales, Sr. and Corene Richardson; step-father: Frank Richardson, Sr.; one
son: Darryl Williams; one brother: George Richardson; and three sisters: Hattie
Parrott, Emma Douglas and Nancy Richardson.
