Funeral
Dottie Pauline Fortenberry passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Legacy
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was born December
26, 1930, in Tallulah, Louisiana, to Dave and Dottie Collins.
Pauline is preceded
in death by her husband, Elton Fortenberry; three sons, Albert, Kirby, and Paul
Fortenberry.
Pauline is survived
by two sons, Dalton Fortenberry (Judy) and Buford Fortenberry (Tammie); two
daughters-in-law, Ann Fortenberry and Tracey Fortenberry; 14 grandchildren; 13
great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for
Mrs. Dottie Pauline Fortenberry, age 90, will be held Thursday, August 19,
2021, at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana, with
Rev. Henry Stone officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will
follow at Lake Providence City Cemetery in Lake Providence, Louisiana, under
the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
Pallbearers will be
Robby Fortenberry, Kade Fortenberry, Patrick Fortenberry, Luke Fortenberry,
John Robert Fortenberry, and Ethan Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Edwin
Fortenberry, Dick Brown, Kenny Smith, and Billy Querry.
