Girod - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 28, 1979 Funeral services for Auldon L. Girod, 69, were held Monday in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Sunflower Cemetery in Baskin. Mr. Girod died Saturday in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg after a short illness. He was a native of Baskin, a resident of Tallulah for 32 years and a retired car sales manager. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Girod of Tallulah; a son, William Pete Girod of Dickinson, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Anne Collins, of Slidell; and a brother, Leon Girod of Baskin. Pallbearers were Don Butler, R. E. Fowler, David Butler, Nolan Smith, Dusty Butler and Alfred Holmes.
