All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Maude Estelle Hancock - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 30, 1963 Services For Mrs. Maude Hancock Held Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Estelle Hancock, 71, who died Tuesday afternoon in a Monroe hospital were held at 3 P. M. Tuesday. A native of Mississippi, Mrs. Hancock had lived in Tallulah for the past 15 years. Services were conducted at the Montrose Baptist Church, with the Rev. Braswell officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home. Survivors include, her husband, R. L. Hancock of Tallulah, a daughter, Mrs. Connie Cooper, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Hilton Hancock, Ft. Smith, Va.; T. C. Hancock, Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. O. K. Bozeman, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Curtis Taylor, Gloster, Miss., John L. Taylor, Lake Charles; nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
