All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Charlie Edward Jobe - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 20, 2012 TALLULAH — Charlie Edward Jobe died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Monroe Surgical Hospital in Monroe. He was 90. Mr. Jobe was born in Vicksburg and had lived in Madison and Tensas parishes. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Vicksburg Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include four sons, Bernnie Jobe, Johnny Jobe and David Jobe, all of Tallulah, and Jerry Jobe of Vicksburg; three daughters, Annette Jones and Julie Holland, both of Tallulah, and Patti Mitchell of Laurinburg, N.C.; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert Menendez and Billy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunflower Cemetery near Delhi. Visitation will be today from noon until the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons or grandsons-in-laws.
