Olive Mae Jones, 81,
departed peacefully from this life and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb.
4, 2007, at a local nursing center.
Funeral: 10 a.m.
Wednesday in Chapel of Chimes in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Burial: Laurel Land
Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Olive Mae Jones
was born in Tallulah, La., on Aug. 7, 1925. She was preceded in death by her
beloved husband, Jack J. Jones. She and her husband founded Jack Jones Hearing
Centers in 1959. She was a beautiful lady with a sweet Southern charm.
Survivors: Brothers,
Herbert Jr. and his son, Bert, and William Jones and his wife, Edith;
daughters, Sandra Dickens and Beverly Brown and her husband, Richard; son, Ray
and his wife, Irene; grandson, Jack Jordan Jones; granddaughter, Melissa
Lantrip and husband, Stacy; and great-grandchildren, Lydia Grace Lantrip and
Jack Thomas Lantrip.
