Eugene Andrew Lexing
Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana
1950-2021
From New Orleans Times-Picayune
August 11, 2021
Eugene Andrew Lexing
Jr. was born on March 10, 1950 in Tallulah, Louisiana to Eugene Andrew Lexing
Sr. and Louise Winston-Lexing. He was a graduate of Reuben McCall Senior High
School, class of 1969 in Tallulah, Louisiana. He later attended the Career Academy
where he studied Radio Broadcast Engineering.
He moved to New
Orleans, LA in 1977 and was employed throughout the years at various New
Orleans restaurants as a Cook.
On July 27, 2021, at
the age of 71, the Angel of Silence came into the room and with chilly fingers
sealed the lips of a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His soul
winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow, and pain to a place of rest.
He leaves to cherish
his memory: one son Eugene A. Lexing III of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters:
LaVerne D. Lexing of Las Vegas, NV, Bernice Lexing and Ge'Ana Lexing of New
Orleans, LA; two sisters: Eloris Lexing-Davis of Oakland, CA, and Beverly
Lexing of Monroe, LA; one brother Charles Lexing Sr. of Monroe, LA; nine
grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and
friends.
Eugene was preceded
in death by his parents Eugene Lexing Sr and Louise Lexing and one sister, Mary
Ann Augurson. A private Memorial Service will be held.
