Betty Hancock Lofton
passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She was 94 years old.
Betty worked for
MP&L (Entergy) for 35 years. She was a member of Redbone United Methodist
Church. She is preceded in death by her husband James H. Lofton, her parents
Thomas Carl Hancock and Laura Russell Hancock.
She is survived by
her sons James H. "Buddy" Lofton, Jr. (Anita), and Thomas David
Lofton (Helen); brothers Carl L. Hancock and Ronald F. Hancock; sister Patricia
Cathart; grandchildren Tracy Tomkins (Larry), Lance Lofton, Tommy Lofton
(Angie), and Christy McKissack; great grandchildren Landon Tomkins, Ansley
Tomkins, Madelyn Lofton, Carter Lofton, Julia Lofton, and Cameron McKissack.
A Graveside service
will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Gardens
Cemtery with Rev. John Evans officiating.
In lieu of flowers
memorials may be made to Redbone United Methodist Church.
