Terry Lane Russell,
67, died July 27th 2015, at his home in Liberty Hill, Texas.
Terry
was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Franklin Russell and Gertrude
Martin Russell, two sisters, Laverne Russell and Mary Russell Webb, and one
brother, Travis Eugene Russell.
Survivors
include his wife of 29 years, Dianne Russell, four children, Milissa
Christensen, Leigh Anne Walker, Shelby Russell, Jennifer Guillot, ten
grandchildren, along with two sisters, Geneva Russell and Louise Russell
Wimberly, and four brothers, Tony Russell, Thomas Russell, Benton Russell and
Clinton Russell.
Raised
in Tallulah, Louisiana, Terry played defensive lineman under the legendary
Charlie McClendon at LSU. He then dedicated the entirety of his career to
ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, before retiring after 36 years. Terry was an avid
hunter, enjoyed gardening, had an affection for animals, and most of all loved
being a PawPaw.
Funeral
services for Mr. Terry Lane Russell will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at
Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, with visitation from 9:00 am-10:00 am
and services beginning at 10:00 am.
