William Richard “Will” Sevier of
Jackson, MS passed away June 2, 2015 at the age of 50 years. Graveside funeral
services will be held at 11:30 am Thursday June 4, 2015 and burial will be in
Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, LA. The services will be officiated by Rev.
William Echols.
Will’s early life was
spent in Lafayette, LA, Houston, TX, where he attended St. John’s Episcopal School, and Midland, TX
where he graduated from Trinity
Episcopal School and Midland
High School.
Always interested in
music, especially guitar, Will attended BerkLee College of Music in Boston, MA and graduated in
Acoustical Engineering from Full Sail School
for the Recording Arts in Winter Park, FL. He also has a BS in Legal
Studies from the University of
Central Florida in Orlando and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, MS.
He was an attorney associated with the Eaves Law Firm of
Jackson, MS. Will was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
Will is predeceased
by his grandparents William P.
& Martha
B. Sevier and John P.
and Lydia
J. Corbin and his uncle, W. E.
“Buddy” Pollard, all of Tallulah, LA. He is survived by his parents Richard
P. and Barbara P. Sevier of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by his aunts and
uncles, Dorothy Sevier Elliott and Dr. Wayne G. Elliott of El Dorado, AR,
Sherrill Sevier Pirone and Dr. Thomas P. Pirone of Lexington, KY and Imogene
Copes Pollard of Tallulah.
