EVANGELIST SHAW-HARRIS

 

Evangelist Francis Shaw-Harris went home to be with her Heavenly Father Nov. 14, 2014.

 

She dedicated her life to serving and helping God's people. She was a member of Gateway to Heaven COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Michael Paige. She was born April 24, 1921, in Tallulah, La., to Albert and Mariah Moore. She was a residence of Las Vegas for 72 years. She married the late Elder William Shaw in 1940, and 10 children were born to this union.

 

Mother Harris is survived by seven children; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

 

Viewing will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Pentecostal Temple COGIC, 1117 "F" St. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Park-Downtown. Repast will be at Friendship COGIC, 2249 W. Washington. Ave.
