Funeral services for Linda Louise Morris Smothermon will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the family plot at Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah.

Linda was a native of Tallulah, Louisiana and a graduate of Tallulah High School. She attended Louisiana Tech University. A long-time resident of Bossier City, Linda worked many years in the hotel industry.

Linda died on July 18, 2014 and is survived by her husband of 36 years, Doug Smothermon; a daughter, Dee Brooks and husband Jeff; and a son, Billy Smothermon and wife Stacey; grandchildren include Chad and Chase Alexander; Blake and Ainslee Brooks, Emily and Aidan Smothermon; cousins include Charles Ladd and Billy Abrahm.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Louise Abrahm Morris, of Tallulah, LA.
