TALLULAH
— Funeral services for Linda McFelt Stampley will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at St.
John M. B. Church, 1000 Florida St., Tallulah, with the Rev. Anthony Guise
officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of
W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation is today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the
funeral home.
Mrs. Stampley died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at her home. She was
67. She was employed by Ergon Corp. as a weigh
master, and was a member of St. John M.B Church.
She was
preceded in death by her father, King Douglas Dace, and mother, Lillian Louise
Watson; and a brother Willie Vincent.
Survivors
include by her husband, Henry Stampley of Tallulah;
son, David L. McFelt Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; three
daughters, Lillian Foster of Vicksburg, Stefanie Williams of El Paso, Texas,
and Vanessa McFelt of Monroe, La.; three stepdaughters,
Brenda Garrett and Barbara Stampley, both of
Vicksburg, and Jerline Stampley
of Fairfield, Calif.; two sisters, Lorraine Parker of Tallulah and Frances
Johnson of Muskegon, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and
nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
