William "Bill" Jennings Thigpen, III sadly
left us on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Vicksburg, MS. He was 62 years old.
Bill was born in Tallulah, LA on August 5, 1962. Bill worked sales most of
his life. He is preceded by his father William Jennings Thigpen, Jr. and a
brother Thomas Stanley Thigpen.
Bill is survived by his son William Jennings Thigpen, IV, his mother Alice
Tingle Ervin, brothers Sam Thigpen (Kristen) and Peewee Thigpen (Deborah).
A memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
at Glenwood Funeral Home with Father Rusty Vincent officiating. A visitation
will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Hayes, Carson Simrall, Bill Davis and
Bill Guion.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his friend David Weber.
Memorial may be made to The American Cancer Society or Blair E. Batson
Children's Hospital.
