Leona Mae Trim Watson of Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was 79 years old. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 6, 2020, at 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Leona was born July 2,1941, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a cosmetologist with very happy clientele. She knew and was known by many people in and around Tallulah. She passionately loved people. She was a fun-loving wife, mother, and friend.

Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her son, Glenn; her parents, Mary and Buddy Friday; and her brother, Alvin Friday. She is also reuniting with her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Watson, Jeddie, Cliff, Theo, and Morris Watson, Ernest Turner, and Ken Jordan.

She is survived by her brother, James Friday and his children, Lisa, Sheila, and James, Jr. and their families as well as her in-laws, (The Watson Clan), and many cousins and friends. Benji, her little canine buddy, will be a living monument to her.

Among her friends are the special ladies that were her caregivers, Angela Davis, Karen Pinckard, and Peggy Knox. She loved them and they loved her. We are thankful that Leona could remain at home because of the care she got from these ladies.
