Leona was born July 2,1941, in

She knew and was known by many people in and around Tallulah. She passionately
loved people. She was a fun-loving wife, mother, and friend.
Leona was preceded in death by her
husband, Leo; her son, Glenn; her parents, Mary and Buddy Friday; and her

Watson, Jeddie, Cliff, Theo, and Morris Watson, Ernest Turner, and Ken Jordan.
She is survived by her brother, James
Friday and his children, Lisa, Sheila, and James, Jr. and their families as
well as her in-laws, (The Watson Clan), and many cousins and friends. Benji,
her little canine buddy, will be a living monument to her.
Among her friends are the special ladies
that were her caregivers, Angela Davis, Karen Pinckard, and Peggy Knox. She
loved them and they loved her. We are thankful that Leona could remain at home
because of the care she got from these ladies.
