SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for
Mike Webster, 71, will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11am, at Heavenly Gates
Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA, with the Rev. M. L. Hunt officiating.
Mr. Webster was born in Tallulah,
LA to Florida Baity Jones and Walter Webster, Sr.
Mike graduated from McCall High School in Tallulah and from Grambling State
University and was a member of the famed GSU Concert and Marching Bands.
He is a USAF veteran and retired as a lieutenant from the Shreveport Police
Department.
Surviving him is his daughter, Rhonda Webster, grandchildren: Myles, Jonathan
and Vincent, all of Marietta GA; brother, Walter Webster of Laredo, TX; dear
cousin JoAnn Speer Martin (Garnell) of O'Fallon, IL and several other dear
relatives and friends.
