Funeral
services for Mr. Joe Ealy Williamson, age 79, will be held Sunday, August 1,
2021, at 2:00 PM at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana, with
Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will
follow the funeral service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
Mr. Joe passed away
Friday, July 30, 2021, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was born July 8, 1942, in
Quebec, Louisiana, to Jim Tullos and Oblene Adkins Williamson. He was born and
raised in Madison Parish. He worked many years for the United States Post
Office in Tallulah, where he retired as the Post Master.
Mr. Joe was preceded
in death by his parents, J. T. and Oblene Williamson; two wives, Jimmie
Marshall Williamson and Janie Williamson; four siblings, Jimmie Kent, Bill
Williamson, Marion Keen, and D’Elmer Williamson; and one granddaughter,
Katherine Shae Everett.
He is survived by his
wife, Linda Williamson; children, Danny Williamson (Teresa), Michael Williamson
(Sharon), Brandy Williamson, and Sharon Everett; grandchildren, Ashleigh Bell,
Stormie Herbert, Joseph Williamson, Julie Williamson, Brandyn Williamson,
Marley Williamson, and Michelle Fredrickson; numerous great grandchildren,
nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be
Kevin Hodge, Ronnie Drane, Timmy Williamson, Victor Killian, Tory Oliver, and
Dusty Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Jefferson, Lonnie Curry, James
Rinicker, David Price, and Jack Purser.
