Warren Andrew Williams,
80, of Summit, died November 30, 2011 at his residence after an illness of
several months. He was born in Tallulah, LA on February 20, 1931 to Webb Bryan
Williams and Sybil Lane Williams.
Mr. Williams was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. He
retired from Sun Oil Company in 1991 after spending 35 years in various
management positions in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. He was a member of
First Baptist Church of Summit and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rosemary Quin Williams, a brother, Edward Webb Williams, and a
sister, Julia Williams Ursery.
Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Kenneth E. Jackson, Jr. of
Houston, TX; his daughter Holly Beth Williams-Roller and her husband Joseph of
Brooklyn, NY; a granddaughter, Mary Quin Roller; and
a brother, Milton Lane Williams of Vicksburg; along with a number of nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 2, from 5-7 PM and continue on
Saturday from 9:30 AM till service time at 10 AM at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral
Home Chapel. Interment, with military honors, will be in Hollywood Cemetery
with Rev. Craig Richardson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dick Sevier, Jonathan Williams, Bill Williams,
Keith Wright, Gaylon Varnado,
and Alan Williams.
