CHARLES WILSON SR.
Charles Edward Wilson Sr., 68, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 1, 2011.
He was born March 17,
1943, in Tallulah, La.,
and was a 61-year resident of Nevada.
A retired cook,
Charles was employed by the Stardust, Landmark, Desert Inn and Cannery Hotels.
He was preceded in
death by his parents, Dave and Nellie Wilson; brother, John Henry Wilson; and
sister, Patricia Wilson-Fields. Charles is survived by his wife, of 50 years,
Myrtle Wilson; daughters, Jacqueline Nelon and
Charlene Wilson; son, Charles Wilson Jr.; eight grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 1-6
p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Thomas & Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane.
Services will be at
11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Pilgrim Rest M.B.C., 1240 Adams. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
