Wondering what high school seniors were thinking about 100 years ago? Read on. What follows is the actual script read before the 1916 Tallulah High School graduation class and their guests by the Class Salutatorian, William P. "Buck" Sevier, Jr.; later to become president of the Tallulah State Bank and long-time mayor of Tallulah. He was only 16-years-old at the time. I am proud to say that he was my father. Richard P.
