Transcribed by Tabitha Weekly Brunnert, Catherine Becker Succession of Catherine Becker No. 96.141 Filed February 20th 1911 DIV— Sate of Louisiana, Parish of Orleans City of New Orleans Be it known, that on this Fourth day of September in the year One thousand Nine hundred and seven. I Charles G. Rebenstisch a notary public in and of the parish of Orleans State of Louisiana, duly commissioned and qualified did at the request of Mr. Christian A. Brunnert, proceeded to his residence No 5438 Constance street, corner of Octavia in the 6th district of this city, where arrived I found Mrs. Catherine Becker, who resides at said place, weak from sickness but who appeared to me notary, and the witnesses hereinafter named and undersigned to be of sound mind memory and understanding who informed me notary that she had summoned me for the purpose of having me receive and take down in my official capacity aforesaid her last will and testament, whereupon said mrs Catherine Becker proceeded to dictate unto me notary, in a loud and distinct voice and in the presence of Messrs., Emile Dieth, John J Egloff, Thomas Grilly, and Frank A. Draube, all competent witnesses of the fill age of majority, all of who reside in this place and city, and were especially requested to witness the at act her last will and testament. which o notary did then and there proceed to write down at it was dictated to me by said Tetrix and it is as follows to wit; My Name is Catherine Ellemaan, and the widow of Conrad Becker, deceased I have been married but once, there are two children issue of my said marriage, vix Mrs Ctherine Becker widow by first marriage, of August Crosskoff, deceased and now wife of Christian Brunnert, and residing in this city, and Jacob Becker, who died on the 1st of April 1902, leavin three children namely Louise Catherine Becker, Edward Becker and Louis Becker, I give and unto my said daughter Mrs Catherine Brunnert, the disposable position of my estate and I will and bequeath, the remainder and appoint Christian A Brunnert, to be sole testamentary executer of my estate with full seizin there of and without Bond, I have made a settlement with my said two children for their share and portion coming to them from their father Conred Becker deceased. I have neverbefore made nor subscribed a last will and testament, I direct the C.G. Revenstich notary public, of this City have fill charge of all legal work in the opening and settling and partition of my estate, It was this the foregoing last will and testament, was dedicated to aforenamed witnesses and the same was written down by me notary in my own proper handwriting in the presence of all of the aforenamed witnesses at it dictated by said testatrix, I notary the read the last will and testament to the said testatrix in a loud and distinct voice and in the presence and hearing of all of said witnesses and she testatrix declared that she full understood the same and persisted in the contents thereof, the whole of the foregoing at one time without interruption or turning aside to other acts, thus done dictated written read on the day and date hereinbefore first written, in the back room of said residence between the hours of half past Eight O’clock and half past nine o’clock in the evening and the same was then signed by the testatrix in the presence of all the witnesses and said testatrix and me notary, by each of said witnesses in the presence of the other of said witnesses and said testatrix and me notary, and by me notary in the presence of said testatrix and all of said witnesses.
