Heno filed 25-1904 State of Louisiana, Parish of Orleans, City of New Orleans Last Will and Testament of Mrs. Mary Ellen Heno February 23rd, 1897 Be it known that on this Twenty Third day of the month of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Ninety Seven, before me, George Covington Preot, a Notary Public in and for the Parish of Orleans, State of Louisiana duly commissioned and qualified and in the presence of of Misses Francis J Wayenel, James Guyal, John Noel Sales male witnesses of full age of majority residing on the city of new Orleans, Parish of Orleans, State of Louisiana personally came and appeared. Mistress Mary Ellen Rawling, widow by first of the late John Jouster and by second marriage of the late John Neno, a resident of said city of New Orleans who declared to me Notary in the presence and hearing of said witnesses that she desired to make and publish this, her last Will and Testament which she elected to me Notary in the presence and hearing of said witnesses as follows to wit- I give and bequeath to my nephew Louis W Rawlings, all the disposable portion of all that I die possessed of that is two thirds of my estate, and I name and appoint the said Louis W Rawlings executer of this Last Will and Testament with raisin of my estate and I dispense him from giving a bound. I give and bequeath to my son Charles W. Foster, my only descendants the remainder of my estate that is one third thereof, it is this that the said will was dictated to me, Notary by the testatrix in the presence and hearing of said witnesses and I have written it down entirely with my own hand as it was dictated and then read it in a loud and audible voice to the testatrix in the presence and hearing of said witnesses and the said testatrix thereupon declared that she will understood the same and persisted therein. Thus done and passed in the city of New Orleans at the residence of the testatrix No 2919 Kytouia Street said testatrix being physically unable to leave her house on the day and in the month and year first above written and the said testrix and the said witnesses hereunto signed their names with me Notary ; the whole in without interruption or turning to other acts, “signed” Mrs. J B Heno, John Noel Salles, Frank J Wayerd, Jas Guyat, Geo C Preot Notary Public New Orleans Louisiana February 24th 1904 I the undersigned Peter Stifft, custodian of notarial records in and for the parish of Orleans state of La, do hereby verify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of the original in file and of record at New Orleans La Peter Stifft Custodian of Notarial records.
