Transcribed by Tabitha Weekly Charles Augustus McDougall No. Aleister (pigner) Charles Filed 24th Sept. 1833 Maurain, judge New Orleans July 19th 1833 Knowing the [?] of the life I, Charles Augustied McDougall being perfectly sound in mind on this nineteenth day of July – year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three, do with My own hand write, what here appeareth the which i intend as my last will and testament in case I should die on or before the the eve piration of our year from this dates My negro boy known by the name of Dick, I give to Hester McDougall the wife of Myford Dougall. My watch i give to my Brother. Myford McDougall. Then after all my affair are stettled and all by debts paid, If any thing remains, I give it all to my two Sisters, Sophia and Mary MDougall in equal projections- I wish for my executors Mrs. John willons and Myford McDougall if practically i wish my body sent to New York to be buried beneath the soil of my much loved city, This will is only to be good in case I die unmarried (signed ) Charles Augustus McDougall,
