Know all men by these presents that I William Coyle for and in
consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and delivered and by these
presents do bargain sell and deliver unto William F. Young a certain negro woman
slave for life named Viny and I do hereby warrant to the said William the said
slave to be sound and healthy in body and mind and a slave for life and the
title to the same to be good and indisputable forever. In trust however and upon
the express agreement and understanding namely whereas the said William Coyle is
justly indebted to William P. Gadberry and Thomas J. Winn merchants and partners
in trade, trading under the firm of Gadbeny & Winn in the just sum of one
hundred and sixtyfive dollars and 16 cents due on the lst day of January next,
Now it is expressly understood that if the said William Coyle shall well and
truly pay to the said Gadberry & Winn the said sum of money above mentioned on
the Ist day of January next then the said William F. Young hereby binds himself
to reconvey and deliver the said negro woman slave named Viney to the said
William Coyle. But in case the said William Coyle shall fail to pay to the said
sum of money before mentioned to the said Gadberry & Winn on the Ist day of
January next then and in that case the said William F. Young is hereby
authorized and empowered to sell the said negro woman slave named Viney for cash
on giving ten days notice of the time and place of said sale and pay the
proceeds of said sale to the said Gadberry & Winn in discharge of the said debt
and if the proceeds of the sale of said negro shall exceed the amount of the
debt of the said Gadberry & Winn the over plus shall be paid to the said William
Coyle and the said William F. Young Trustee as aforesaid is hereby authorized to
give a firm good and lawfull Bill of Sale for the said negro to the purchaser of
the same in case the said negro shall be sold as aforesaid. In testimony whereof
the said parties Coyle and Young. Gadberty & Winn have hereunto set their hands
and seals this twenfieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and thirty.

Louisiana authorized and assisted by my Said husband C.C.P. Deck do by these
presents for the consideration of Seven hundred Dollars the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged do hereby sell and deliver with a full guarantee of Title
and a Subrogation of the rights whatever that we have against our vendors unto
Adam & William Miller of the parish of Claiborne and State aforesaid accept and
Sign this art. of transfer the following described Tract of Land Situated in the
Parish of Claiborne To have and to hold unto the Said Adam & Willam Miller their
heirs and assigns to their own purposes benefit and behoove forever To Wit: The
South West quarter of Section Thirty Two of Township Twenty of Range Eight and
the South East quarter of The South East quarter of Section Thirty one of
Township Twenty of Range Eight also the North West quarter of the North East
quarter of Section 84 of Township Nineteen of Range Eight containing Two hundred
and Forty acres More or less.

Know all men by these presents that
we, Wesley E. Hortman sole heir of Georgia Ann Hortman (nee Deck), deceased, and
Mary Catherine Coyle (nee Deck), wife of H.B. Coyle, being aided and authorized
herein by my said husband, all residents of Webster Parish, La., do hereby
grant, bargin, sell, convey and deliver into Charles W. Deck and Mrs. Nannie C.
Morris (nee Deck) all of our undivided intrest, each of us owning a one fourth
interest in the estate of C.C. Pinckney Deck, deceased and Barbara Ann Deck,
surviving widow, in the following ascribed land in Webster Parish La. and all
improvements thereon to wit:
The North East quarter, the West half of the
South East quarter and the North East quarter of South East quarter of Section
(20) Twenty, Township (21) Twenty one, Range (10) Ten, containing 160 acres, our
interest being a one fourth undivided interest each, making eighty acres, herein
conveyed by us to have and to hold the same unto them the said Chas. P. Deck &
Mrs. N.C. Morris, their heirs & assigns forever with such warranty of title as
we acquired & own as heirs of said succession. The consideration of this sale
and transfer one hundred and forty dolllars ($140.00) cash, paid to us the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged in full settlement of our entire
undivided interest in said estate. Thus done and signed in presence of the
attesting witnesses on this 19th day of April 1898.

presents that I Mary Deck of Said State and Parish for valuable consideration
have this day ganted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargin sell convey relinquish and set over all my right title and interest unto
the heirs of Robert Hobdy deceased namely John R. Hobdy of Pine Bluff Arkansas
and Ann A. Hobdy of Pine Bluff Arkansas and Ann A. Hobdy wife of Elijah T.
Nickeraon of Claiborne Parish Louisiana and Amanda Hobdy of Goliad(?) state of
Texas and to Cynthia C. Deck minor child of Caroline Deck represented by his
father and natural Tutor Miles T. Deck of Bossier Parish Louisiana in and to the
foregoing described property to wit all the lands Stock and effects of everr
description in which I own and undivded interest and belonging to the Estate of
my daughter Caroline Hobdy Deceased of Atascosa County State of Texas reserving
unto myself the Said Mary Deck, no claim of interest in and to said Estate from
Said heirs of Robert Hobdy Deceased excepting, the Sum of Twenty five hundred
dollars which I reserve to myself as the sum which my daughter Caroline carriaed
to her Husband Robert Hobdy in marriage in the State of Louisiana otherwise
hereby fully relinquishing all claims whatsoever I heretofore held in and to
Said Estate together with all and Singular the rights members improvements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or
appertaining out of which Estate relinquished aforesaid Amanda Hobdy is to
recieve eight hundred dollars first to make her equal with the others heirs of
Robert Hobdy Decd. The remander to be equally divided between all the said heirs
of Robert Hobdy, including Said Amanda Hobdy to have and to hold all and
Singular the Said promises unto the Said heirs of Robert Hobdy there heirs and
assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself heirs executors and administrators
to warrant and forever defend all and Singular Said interest to the Said Estate
unto the Said heirs of Robert Hobdy decd their heirs and assigns against every
person whosoever claiming or to claim the Same or any part thereof either in law
or equity. In evidence whereof Mary Deck and Matthew L. Hodges and James Johnson
Male Witnesses of lawful age and B. Milton Perry Long, Recorder & Exoffico
Notary Public duly Comissioned and qualified at my office in the Parish and
State first aforesaid on this 20th day of February A.D. 1862 have signed this
act all in the presence of each other.

Wheras William Miller and Francis Joseph Bopp of Webster Parish
jointly owns the lands inside the Parish herein named & in order to divide and
partition the same we agree as follows: Said Bopp deeds & conveys to said Miller
his half interest in one part & said Miller decds & conveys to Bopp his half
interest in the other part as follows so that, said Miller shall exclusively own
the North East quarter of Section Six Township (19) nineteen North & Range (8)
eight west save except about ten acres which goes to Bopp his own to be as
follows all the land in NE qt of NE qr of Sec 6 north of a branch stream going
west to its junction with the Cooleyy farm that point is North of a line direct
from such junction North West til it strikes the North boundry of said quarter
section 6 twenty rods past of N W corner of South quarter section, said Bopp
shall exclusively own south East quarter of South East quarter of same section
as last named alsy South West quarter of section thirty two Twonship Twenty
Range Eight also the ten acres in Section Six described above as reserved from
the share of said Miller. It is agreed this is some of Bopp’s lands (... can’t
make this out ....) in value we agree to share the difference in the share is
Seventy two dollars which said Bopp has paid in cash to said Miller. Done signed
& attested in Duplicate at Minden, La.

Claibome Paiish Said State, and Ann Deck of Bossier Parish Said State brothers
and sisters of Caroline Deck widow of Robert Hobdy who died at her last
residence in Alascosa County State of Texas and as heirs at law of Said Caroline
Hobdy that we for a valuable consideration received have this day granted
bargained sealed and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey

citizen of the State of Louisiana in and to the following described property to
wit all the lands Stock and effects of every description in which we are an
undivided interest belonging to the Estate of our said Sister Caroline Hobdy
decd of Atacosa County State of Texas reserving unto ourselves no claim or other
interest in and to said Estate from the said Mary Deck whatsoever hereby fully
relinquishing all claims whatsoever we have heretofore held in and to said
estate together with all singular the right members improvements hereditaments
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining
to have and to hold all and Singular the said premises unto the said Mary Deck
her heirs and assigns forever and we do hereby bind ourselves and heirs
executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the
said interests to said estate unto the said Mary Deck her heirs and assigns
against every person whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof either in
law or Equity In evidence whereof all of the parties aforesaid together with
Mary Deck accepting and Matthew L. Hodges and James Johnson Male Witnesses of

Know all by these presents, that we
James J. Slack and Martha Slack my wife and John Slack of the County of Yazoo
and State of Mississippi are held and firmly bound unto William W. Cissna of the
county and state aforesaid in the Just and full sum of two thousand dollars to
which payment well and truly to be made unto the said William W. Cissna his
heirs executors and Administrators or assigns we hereby bind ourselves and our
heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these
presents - Sealed with our seals and dated this 15th day of February- Anno
Domini Eighteen Hundred and thirty-six.
The condition of the
above obligation is such that whereas the above named James Slack and Martha his
wife and John Slack have heretofore sold and delivered unto the said William W.
Cissna the North half of the North East quarter of Section Number thirty three
in Township N Eleven of Range Number Two East situated in the said County of
Yazoo and in the Mount Salus Land District in the state aforesaid and containing
Seventy-Nine and fiftysix hundredths acres be the sarne more or less. Now if the
said James Slack and Martha his wife shall make or cause to be made and executed
by the said John Slack within six months after the said John Slack (their son
and who is now a minor about fourteen years of age) shall have arrived at lawful
age or sooner if it can be done- a good and sufficient deed in law and equity
conveying and assuring unto the said William W. Cissna or to his heirs or
assigns a free clear and indisputable estate in fee simple in and to the before
mentioned piece or parcel of land heretofore sold and delivered by them as
aforesaid to the said William W. Cissna amd warranting him the said Cissna his
heirs or assigns in the free and uninterrupted possession and enjoyment thereof
forever against the claim demand or interruption of themselves, their heirs and
all other persons whatever. Then this obligation to be void or else to remain
and be in full force and virtue.
