Mrs. Jennings

Services for Mrs. Pearl Garner Jennings, 74, of Montgomery were held Monday at
2 p.m. in Mount Zion Methodist Church with the Revs. Roy Moore, G. A. McVay,
and Norris Curry officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Jennings died Sunday, April 6, 1980 in the local hospital after a short
illness.

She was a member of the Montgomery Eastern Star Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, Rufus E. Jennings, of Montgomery; three
daughters, Mrs. Mattie Jean Jowers of Alexandria, Mrs. Marlene Anderson of
Lake Charles, and Mrs. Mary Pickrel of Tyler, Texas; a sister, Mae Garner of
Montgomery; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
