Funeral Services For Mrs. J. W. Scott Are Held Sunday

Mrs. J. W. Scott, wife of Dr. J. W. Scott, died at their home in Rochelle
Sunday and funeral services were held at the Methodist church that afternoon
conducted by the Rev. R. W. Faulk, assisted by Rev. J. T. Harris of Rayville,
followed by interment in the Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Dr. J. W. Scott and daughter, Miss
Mildred Scott.  She was a member of the Methodist church.

Pallbearers were W. T. Murray, C. H. Lindsay, E. C. Johnson, F. J. Giteau,
Luther Nugent, and A. H. Bradham.

Those attending the funeral from here included Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Bryan, A.
L., Bryan, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Scott, and Miss Clotile Bryceland.
