Obsequies for Mrs. O. Shaw Friday, March 29

Succumbs After Illness of Two Weeks With Pneumonia

Mrs. Owen Shaw, 26 years of age, died at her home at Couley, Thursday morning,
8 o'clock, March 28, 1935, following an illness of two week's duration with
pneumonia.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Couley Double Church Friday
afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Arthur McVay in charge.  Interment will
be in the Couley Cemetery.

Mrs. Shaw was a member of the Methodist Church.  She was born and reared in
the Couley Community.

Surviving are the husband and four children, Margaret, Arville, Douglas, and
James Terry; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Rikard of Couley; four brothers
and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Deville, Jena, Clarence and William Rikard of
Chester, Mrs. J. E. Shaw, Mrs. L. H. Kelly, J. E. and W. E. Rikard of Couley.
