Last Rites For John M. Taylor Held At Mt. Zion

John Milton Taylor, 72, a resident of Route 1, Montgomery, died January 5 in
the Pineville hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 7, in the Mt. Zion
Cemetery with the Rev. S. E. Lum and the Rev. J. A. Achord officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Taylor; three sons, James Milton Taylor of
Lansing, Mich., Donald Ray and George Willie Taylor both of Montgomery; one
stepson, Harold Lashley of Montgomery; three daughters, Doris Ann, Bertha Mae,
and Edna Lee Taylor, all of Montgomery; four brothers, Willie Taylor of
Bentley, Rev. W. D. Taylor of Oakwood, Texas, Glenn and Byron Taylor, both of
Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Vogel and Mrs. Dessie Westbrook, both of
Shreveport, Mrs. Lela Basye of Montgomery, and Mrs. Della Garage of Lansing,
Mich.
