NOTE: The piece above does not mention Pointe as does the second: 1 X 30 arpents of prairie and woodland in the quarter of Pointe Noir. The N.S.E.W. boundaries had blank lines. In another sale Act# 13560, Max Sr. sold the 50 arpent piece and is said to be located at Coulee Croche. The second piece is possibly part of the land sold in Pointe Noire which does give the neighbors: north: Michel Bellard, south: Bayou Plaquemine, west: Florient Olivier the sale is for 10 arpents instead of 30 and is sold for $250.
