BLUM -- PERRIN

The marriage of Miss Lucille Perrin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emelien 
Perrin, to Joseph Emile Blum of Donaldsonville, La., was very beautifully 
celebrated in the forenoon Wednesday at St. Stephen's Church, in Napoleon 
avenue, in the presence of a very large gathering of relatives and friends. The 
spacious edifice was brillant with myriads of tiny electric lights, and on the 
altar and about the chancel were bride roses and lilies, and a quantity of palms 
and fern. The ceremony took place at a nuptial mass, the Rev. Father Linn, 
assisted by the Rev. Father T. J. Brady, officiating. In the bridal party were 
the ushers and groomsmen, Messrs. Nelson Woody, Lee D. Grosch, Alfred Van Buren 
and Delvaille Theard; the maid of honor to the bride, who was her sister, Miss 
Edith Louise Perrin, and the bridesmaids, Misses Miriam Blum and Natalie 
Schelley. Miss Perrin wore a white lace gown over satin and a large picture hat 
in white lace. She carried a cluster of bride roses. The bridesmaids' costumes 
were in white lace over rose-colored satin, and they wore lacy white picture 
hats, with pink trimmings. They carried arm bouquets of pink roses and fern. the 
bride entered with her father, the bridegroom awaiting her a the chancel with 
his best man, Tilden Fernandez. The bride's gown was a rich creation of white 
brocaded satin, with rose-point lace trimmings. She wore the conventional veil 
of illusion, and carried a cluster of bride roses and lilies of the valley. A 
very beautiful reception was held later at the Perrin home, in Napoleon avenue. 
A profusion of bride roses, lilies and carnations and masses of fern and bows of 
white tulle were used in the decorations. Mrs. Perrin was assisted in receiving 
by the members of the bridal party and Mrs. J. E. Blum and Mrs. T. Grosch. Mr. 
and Mrs. Blum left for a short bridal trip. They will make their home in New 
Orleans. Among the out-of-town guests here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. J. 
E. Blum, the parents of the bridegroom; George Blum, Miss Beulah Blum, Mr. and 
Mrs. J. J. Lafargue, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Levy, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Barman, Mrs. A. 
Richard, Mrs. M. Blum, George Richard; and Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Smell, all of 
Louisiana. - New Orleans Times-Democrat.
