Interment in Metairie cemetery, New Orleans. It is probable that some of the present population of Thibodaux will not recall Mrs. Peter Fey, but for a number of years she conducted what was known as the Franklin House, which building up to 1926 was owned by the late Mr. Joseph McCulla, sho sold it to Mr. Sylvester Landry, who enlarged and improved the place and then named it Hotel Dixie. We do not know where Mrs. Fey located after giving up the Franklin House, but we suppose she went back to Lockport, where she lived before her marriage to Mr. Fey. She was a estimable person and thus generally made permanent friends of those with whom she was thrown in contact friends who will doubtless learn of her death with profound sorrow.
