John Farrell

John Miller Farrell Jr., 63, a native of Dallas, TX and a resident of
Houma, died 10:10 p.m. Sunday.

He was a decorated WW II Veteran and a member of the local chapter of
Disabled American Veterans. He retired from Kraft, Inc., after 27 years
of service.

Visitation will be 8 p.m. today until 10 p.m. continuing noon Tuesday
until funeral time at the Chauvin Funeral Home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St. Francis no. 2 cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Blackwell Farrell; four sons, John M.
III., Terry B., Robert P., and Gerald P. Farrell, all of Houma; one
daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Nancy) Rikard, of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother,
Bartley W. Farrell, of New Orleans; six sisters, Mrs. Johnny Harrison,
of Chalmette, Mrs. Alden Grosz, Mrs. Harold Schambach and Mrs. Marcella
Farrell, all of New Orleans, Mrs. Elwood Barrosse, of Mobile, Al. and
Mrs. Dennis Dobord, of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustus Louis Bartley and John
Miller Farrell Sr.

Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
