Albert Hitt

Albert Jackson Hitt, 86, a native of Arbor, Missouri and a resident of
Houma, died 2:50 p.m. Monday.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home
and continue 8 a.m. Friday until funeral time.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Terrebonne Full Gospel
Temple.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories cemetery, Gray.

Survivors include three sons, Paul W. and H. Lawson Hitt, of Raceland
and Billy Hitt, of Houma; one daughter, Mrs. Verbia H. Smith, of
Pontiac, Mich.; two brothers, Milbourn Hitt, of Florida And Claude Hitt,
of Advance, Missouri; five sisters, Mrs. Jewel Kidd, Mrs. Myrtel Hill,
Mrs. Stella Galloway, Mrs. Ruth Valler, of Advance, Missouri and Mrs.
Lorna Evan, of Cape Giradeau, Missouri; 34 grandchildren; 33
great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Harrington Hitt; and
parents, Nellie Litteral and John Hitt; one son, Willard Hitt; two
daughters, Mrs. Ella Potter and Miss Wilma Hitt; one brother, Welddon
Hitt; one grandchild; and one great-granddaughter.

Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
