Apr. 2, 1982 Kate LeBoeuf Marcel Kate LeBoeuf Marcel, 61, died 11:10 a.m. Saturday. Visitation began 7 p.m. Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home and will continue until funeral time. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Francis de Sales No. 2, Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Walter Marcel; her mother, Mrs. Adeline Buquet LeBoeuf; four sons, Walter Marcel Jr. of Grand Caillou, Robert Marcel of Bayou Blue, Ronald and Harry Marcel, both of Houma; seven daughters, Mrs. Peter "Gloria" Luke of Bayou Blue, Mrs. Johnny "Betty" Fonseca, Mrs. Douglas "Elaine" Lachico, Mrs. Ernest "Alice" Sapia, Mrs. David "Mary" Pitre, Mrs. Whitney "Barbara" Sapia, and Miss Jane Marcel, all of Houma; five brothers, Darden LeBoeuf of Brownsville, Texas, Robert, Ray, and Alex LeBoeuf of Grand Caillou, and Thomas Leboeuf Jr. of Houma; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Augusta Hebert, Mrs. Verna Liner, and Mrs. Anthony Mona Luke; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas LeBoeuf; one sister, Mrs. Nell Scott; and one grandchild, Mary Pitre. Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is handling the arrangements.
