Whitney Gros

Whitney J. Gros, 51, died 8:45 a.m. Sunday.

Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. today at Landry Funeral
Home and resume 8 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time.

The funeral will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with a
Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic
Church.

Burial follows in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Price Gros; his mother, Lillian
Navarre Gros; seven sons, Wayne, Ricky, Timmy, Christopher, Robert,
Jerry and Darel Gros; three daughters, Mrs. Stan (Cynthia) Naquin, Peggy
Gros and Mrs. Michael (Julia) Boudreaux; and nine grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Whitney Gros; and one daughter,
Mrs. Jessie (Susan) Peltier.

Landry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
