Marguerite Daigle

Mrs. Marguerite Moody Daigle, 87, a resident of High Street, died 12:50
a.m. Tuesday in New Orleans.

She served many years in the Houma Youth Center; worked as an election
poll worker and a member of St. Matthews Church.

The funeral was 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Episcopal Church, New
Orleans.

Burial is in the Hope Mausoleum, also New Orleans.

Survivors include her son, Jules Barry Daigle; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy
D. Sternitzke; one brother Norman Moody; three sisters, Hilda White,
Laura Morel and Mildred Modlinger; and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jules Daigle; her parents, John
and Bessie Moody; and two sisters, Lillian Kuhn and Birdie White.

P.J. McMahon and Sons Funeral Home, New Orleans, handled the
arrangements.
