Mrs. Rose Theriot

Mrs. Rose Marie Lirette Theriot, 99, died 9 a.m. today.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. today at the Chauvin
Funeral Home, resuming 8 a.m. Thursday until funeral time.

The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church,
Houma.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maurice A. (Rosemary) Hebert, of
Houma; one brother, Edgar J. Lirette, of New, Orleans; three sisters,
Mrs. Gilbert (Beatrice) Whitney and Mrs. Alvin (Lena) Woods, both of
Lutcher, and Mrs. John (Aline) Waguespack; of New Orleans; four
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Justillian A. Theriot; her
parents, Marie Thibodeaux and Edgar J. Lirette; one son, Francis Elphege
Theriot; three sisters, Mrs. Josh (Cecilia) Dillard, Mrs. Julian (Edna)
Guidry and Mrs. Frank (Lillian) Tillbrook; two brothers, Adney and Alex
Lirette; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one
great-great-grandchild.

Chauvin Funeral Home, of Houma, is handling arrangements.
