Jul 11, 1982 Emily Savoie Mrs. Emily Picou Savoie, 74, a native and resident of Chauvin and also of Houma, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday. Visitation will be Sunday from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until funeral time. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin. Survivors include two sons, Elton Savoie of LaRose and Ira Savoie of Chauvin; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Carolyn) Bergeron of Houma, Mrs. Larry (Emilia) Boudreaux of Bayou Black and Mrs. Victor (Verna-Mae) Pellegrin of Chauvin; four half-brothers, Ray Picou of Houma, Noel Picou of Orlando, Fla., Felton Picou of Seattle, Wash, and Wilbur Picou of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Camille (Pearl) Pitre and Mrs. Louis (Ruby) LeBoeuf, both of Montegut, Mrs. Edward (Ester) LeBoeuf of Redding, Calif.; five half-sisters, Mrs. N.J. (Rona) Rodrigue of Houma, Mrs. Felix (Helen) Belanger of Bourg, Mrs. Walter (Bonnie- Belle) Fitch of Lockport, Mrs. Eddie (Rhea) Voisin of Grand Caillou, and Mrs. Robert (Miriam) Brossette of New Orleans; 16 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clothilde Hebert and Elam Joseph Picou; one son, Irvin Savoie; one daughter, Mrs. Mayloria Charpentier; one brother, Houston Picou; two half-brothers, Carbert and Roland Picou; and one half-sister, Ezell Picou. Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
