Hattie Toups

Hattie Bourgeois Toups, 83, died 9 a.m. Saturday.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Women's
Club, St. Anne's Hospital Assoc, and the Thibodaux General Ladies
Auxiliary.

The funeral was 10 a.m. today from Landry Funeral Home with a Mass of
Christian Burial that followed at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.

Burial is in the church cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, James and Kenneth H. Toups; two daughters,
Mrs. John R. (Marie Rita) Bernard and Mrs. O.C. (Mell) Hebert of Lake
Charles, all of Thibodaux; five grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Toups; and one
brother, Louis T. Bourgeois.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Association are
preferred.

Landry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
