Emma Borne

Emma Borne, 83, died 9 a.m. Sunday.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. today at Landry Funeral Home,
Thibodaux, resuming 8 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with a Mass of
Christian Burial at St Joseph Co-cathedral.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Carey Borne, of Napoleonville and Olden
Borne, of New Orleans; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Audrey) Thibodaux,
of New Iberia and Mrs. Herbert (Annalee) Adams, of Napoleonville; two
brothers (not named); four sisters; 20 grandchildren; and 19
great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Borne; her parents,
Pierre Himel and Ovillia Boudreaux Himel; and two sons, Maurice and
Jesse Lee Borne.

Landry Funeral Home, of Thibodaux, Is handling the arrangements.
