Asessia Dufrene

Asessia R. Dufrene, 70, a native of Gheens and a resident of Raceland,
died 4:30 a.m. Monday in Raceland.

Visitation w ill begin 4:30 p.m. today and remain until midnight,
opening 7 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time.

The funeral will be 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Falgout Funeral Home, of
Raceland, with religious services to follow 9:30 a.m. at St. Hilary
Catholic Church, Mathews.

Burial will be in the St. Mary Church Cemetery, Raceland.

Survivors include three sons, Alton, Jerry and Eldon Dufrene; two
daughters, Mrs. Andrew Domangue and Mrs. Freddie Dufrene Jr.; three
brothers, Zalley, Emile and Benton Rivet; three sisters, Sadie Davine,
Mrs. Johnny Vedros and Mrs. Johnny Danos; 20 grandchildren; and 13
great-grandchildren.

Falgout Funeral Home, of Raceland, is handling the arrangements.
