Early J. Sampay

Early Joseph Sampay, 70, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of
Houma,

died 6a.m today in Houma.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home,
Houma, and resume 8 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time. A rosary will be
recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Church mausoleum.

Survivors include two sons, Gordon Sam-pay, of Houma and Warren Sampay,
of Theriot; eight daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Karpinski, of, Houma,
Mrs. Daniel (Shirley) Bourgeois, of Gibson, Mrs. Clarence (Mabel)
Bonvillain, of Houma, Mrs. Charles (Evelyn) Portier, of Houma, Mrs.
Kirby (Barbara) Solet, of Houma, Mrs. Dallas (Helen) Boudreaux, of
Houma, Mrs. Norman (Anna Mae) Falcon, of Lafayette and Mrs. Ronnie (Ann
Marie) Morgan, of Morgan City; 63 grandchildren; and 38
great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sostain Sampay and Helen Breaux;
his wife, Mrs. Ruby Arceneaux Sampay.

Falgout Funeral, Home, of Houma, is handling the arrangements.
